This is a very strange one… echoes of Hans Bellmer, Marquis de Sade… apparently inspired by Bill Brandt’s photos of mannequins in Parisien shop windows. Not easy to translate but well done to the University of Edinburgh’s Art in Translation project and thanks to Routledge that they have preserved this for posterity in English.
